My second race since returning from an achilles injury. Last week I clocked 18mins 59secs for the Hamilton Harriers 5K Club Championship. Today, however, I improved somewhat and clocked 38mins 02secs for the 10K Club Championship. The heart rate readings are wholly inaccurate as my chest strap kept slipping, thereby giving rogue readings. Michael Brawley and I ran the race side by side from the start to almost the finish, but he sprinted away in the last 20m to clock 1 second faster than me. A great race!
