Strathclyde Parkrun Event #48 - 12/3/11

My time today was 19mins 01secs. Very windy with driving sleet. Absolutely baltic! I finished 4th today. I measured this course 30m long yet again. The winner (Davie Gardiner) finished exactly 2mins ahead of me. I was happy enough though, since my splits were pretty consistent :-)

Glasgow Parkrun #112 - 5/3/11

Time - 19mins 13secs. The slowest Parkrun in over a year. I tried racing with my new saucony racers and inserting my custom built orthotics in them. I felt I was running round with ankle weights on. I was shattered by the end of this race - never again will I wear those orthotics for racing!

Glasgow Parkrun #111 - 26/2/11

My time today was 18mins 36secs. I was happy enough, but dropped off the pace around the 3K mark - again! Still it is 20secs quicker than last week's race.

Hamilton Harriers 5K Monthly Handicap Race - 22 February 2011

I ran a good race tonight in a time of 18mins 13secs. I also managed to win the race by pipping a fellow harrier just before the finish line.

Kirkintilloch 12.5km Road Race - 20/2/11

A tough race with at least 12 hills. My time was 49mins 06secs. I was happy with that,since my aim on this extremely hilly course today was to dip 50mins, which I did comfortably. My Garminn measured the race distance as 12.71km, as did Robert Gilroy's (Ali-G) as well.

Glasgow Parkrun #110 - 19/2/11

I tried hard as usual, but the lactic kicked in after 3K and I struggled home in 18mins 56secs. Round about the same time as last week.

Glasgow Parkrun 12/2/11

A decent Parkrun today. I was happy enough with my time (18mins 55secs), since I have been out for a while with an achilles injury. Ali-G (Robert Gilroy) ran a stormer in 15mins 52secs. He was really happy on the way home and deservedly so
